First Part of our Conversion Process

The first 5 days of the conversion consisted of insulating the van, from top to bottom, painting some plywood and installing the first walls for our lower cabinets. At the time, we had to go back to our boat hauled out in Richmond to get the bottom painted, so we only had a few days to go through our long to-do list. Despite the cold and rainy weather we still managed to finish all the insulation and get the first pieces of wood screwed to the van. It was really good to get a taste of our layout once the lower cabinets for our stove, fridge, battery compartment and bed got installed.
